RE: The Murder Challenge - Florien - 04-14-2022 Well, it's either Michelle, Selen(ium) or Kanade, given who we know was in their room last night. So I say we start with Michelle and work from there. /Vote Michelle. RE: The Murder Challenge - Kennifer - 04-14-2022 "What? I'm just speculating, you know, what we're supposed to be doing? And who was in their rooms, who was walking around? You're acting like you know this. If you know anything, spill." RE: The Murder Challenge - PointMaid - 04-14-2022 ...I was in my room? I just didn't say anything because... as far as I can tell nobody can verify whether we were in our rooms? But yeah, as Michelle said, if you have any actual knowledge about it, Bywyn, say so. RE: The Murder Challenge - Guma - 04-14-2022 your on thin ice, kid. we have no way of knowing know who was in there rooms. im literally this close to voting you. RE: The Murder Challenge - Florien - 04-14-2022 Actually, we do. Everyone who explicitly went to their rooms last night was in their rooms. Those three publicly went to their rooms, and I saw no one come up from downstairs, so it must have been someone who went to the rooms. Therefore, it must be one of them. Though if they'd like to make roleclaims that would help narrow it down. RE: The Murder Challenge - PointMaid - 04-14-2022 ... Aha. I see what your reasoning is. I believe it's based on an incorrect proposition. You're assuming we had to publicly announce we were going to our rooms before lights out to have been in our rooms all night. I'm not sure that's the case. RE: The Murder Challenge - Kennifer - 04-14-2022 "And I think some other people headed to their rooms before lights out too, who you didn't mention. And I don't remember Hypercam saying anything about going to his room but it's where he was found dead. So I'm not sure that means as much as you think it does. Keeping watch at the stairs might've been a good thought though, at least." Michelle pauses a moment. "And no. I'm not saying this to save my skin. I'm just trying to understand the train of thought here. As for my role, I'm nobody special. And yes, I know this is probably what you'd expect someone guilty to say as it's the safest claim, but it's true." RE: The Murder Challenge - Florien - 04-14-2022 Yeah yeah I said before lights out. That's what I meant. You did. Bywyn is clearly stressed and slipping in between its weird accent and a vaguely mid-atlantic accent. Anyway, I'd have seen someone come up the stairs otherwise. So no, you're wrong. The stupid glowie camera was in the room because of "assumptions", but everyone else who explicitly went upstairs was explicitly upstairs. I would have seen anyone arriving. Now, we've got the twinner, we've got the warpgater, and we've got the smokebomber, so that means that we've got three roles up there, and the killer. So if Michelle claims no role, I'll need Selenium's roleclaim and Kanade's roleclaim. Because if everyone here says what I think they're going to say, I've got a big knockdown argument. If you don't, I don't know where to go from there. Incidentally, could the person twinned to the alpha speak up? You don't have to tell your role, you just have to verify that you exist. If you don't exist, I've got an answer to the questions we have on hand. If you do exist, I've got something going for me. RE: The Murder Challenge - PointMaid - 04-14-2022 ...I don't have any powers either. Honestly, though, if people who do have something speak up. They're going to make themselves targets. RE: The Murder Challenge - PopcornPie - 04-14-2022 Entrapta looked coyly around the room. "Weeeellll...honestly, I received the role of internet provider. I roleblocked Kanade, then I went to sleep. Nothing else happened, honest!" RE: The Murder Challenge - Kennifer - 04-14-2022 "That, uh... that'd be me, who's friends with the Alpha. Otherwise a normie. I was in my room, they came to me, we had a brief chat, and that's it." Was this going to be helpful, Michelle wondered. Should she have said anything, was she doomed either way, did she just provide information to some sort of sussy baka, did she actually help the case... RE: The Murder Challenge - Dookie - 04-14-2022 Voes so far: Michelle - 1 RE: The Murder Challenge - Florien - 04-14-2022 Alright, cool, that confirms the Alpha was active last night, therefore Nintendo and Sony didn't leave their room last night. I only saw four, not five. Okay, so Distraction Dancer protects Entrapta tonight, due to the ISP claim. Unless someone else can claim ISP also to try to contradict Entrapta, in which case reevaluation. Kanade, I need your roleclaim. Just to confirm something. Assuming Entrapta's correct, you're in no danger because you couldn't have done this. RE: The Murder Challenge - PopcornPie - 04-14-2022 "Does it really? I only knew I could roleblock somebody, I wasn't told what role each person has. For all I know, I blocked a power that Kanade didn't even have." RE: The Murder Challenge - Florien - 04-14-2022 Yeah, but if you're not lying about roleblocking, Kanade couldn't have done it, because she was blocked. She can't get up and shank someone to death like they used to in the guild if you've got her blocked off. That's why I never went into arcanology you know, aside from the glowies in the guild. Too much shankage for not enough anything. The point is, I just need Kanade's roleclaim. She has no reason to lie unless she's criminal, and whatever she claims will help us immensely in finding the killers. RE: The Murder Challenge - Despair's Archon of Memes - 04-14-2022 ... I'm not quite sure about this, and I kind of don't want to make myself the inevitable next target of the scum... ESPECIALLY when it's so early in the game. I REALLY don't. But... Um... I'm up for your ideas... And with that, I must say... I'm also not quite sure about Entrapa's role either... because I didn't actually go out today. Actually... Even if I DID go out yesterday... I didn't feel anything different that would indicate that I got roleblocked. Just my take on things. And if you MUST ask... Yes. I'M the Distraction Dancer. Take my roleclaim with a grain of salt, of course. RE: The Murder Challenge - PopcornPie - 04-14-2022 "You are?! So by keeping you from distracting the killer, I sealed Hypercam's fate...I'm as guilty as the killer themselves!" Entrapta teared up. I'm guilty in this, too... ...I... didn't want to go out because I wanted to make FULLY sure I knew the identity of the killers before I went out. I just wanted to be better safe than sorry! Kanade just hugs Entrapa... RE: The Murder Challenge - TenOfSwords13 - 04-14-2022 Can you foolish mortals cease with your emotions? What is done is done, and what is not is not. Pull yourselves together, by the Unnamed Monarch! RE: The Murder Challenge - Florien - 04-14-2022 Wait You didn't take your action? Alright, if anyone's able to refute those two roleclaims do it now. And I need Nintendo and Sony's role. Because four people travelled, and yet, only three movements happened last night. Oh also it's probably Selenium or Michelle. RE: The Murder Challenge - PopcornPie - 04-14-2022 Entrapta whimpers softly with the hug, returning it with her ponytail wrapping lightly around Kanade. "Poor Hypercam...Here, let me prove I'm the ISP." She rewound for a while on her tape recorder, then pressed "play". [Recording: "Okay. According to my assignment, I can roleblock anyone. Um...I don't know who to choose. I mean, if Kanade has been through this game before, she probably knows how to kill someone and get away with it, right? Better block her. Yeah, that'll work. Hope I made the right choice. Entrapta, signing off. Hope I see you tomorrow!...(snoring)] RE: The Murder Challenge - PointMaid - 04-14-2022 ... I didn't go anywhere last night, you conspiracy theorist. I already told you I don't think your keeping watch, or whatever it is, works the way you think it does. I don't think you would have seen anybody go upstairs to bed. RE: The Murder Challenge - Kennifer - 04-14-2022 "I wish I knew how to get you to believe my innocence before it ends up being too late for me and having you find out that way, but I do hope that everyone's going to listen to everyone's sides before jumping to conclusions. I've been trying that myself, though the lack of evidence is disappointing and hearsay is, well, not reliable without a lie detector or anything." Michelle looks... well, she's trying to look calm, but her face has gone pale. RE: The Murder Challenge - Florien - 04-14-2022 Oh, hush, Mizheldtiv. Nothing to hide, nothing to fear! We just need the two Big Game companies to speak up with what they're doing here and I'll have those with something to hide unhidden. Bywyn's confidence and accent have returned, making it slightly less intelligible and decidedly more mystical sounding. RE: The Murder Challenge - Kennifer - 04-14-2022 "I don't have anything to hide, but you sure seem convinced that I do. I'm not sure if it's because of the role I claimed-- or lack thereof, originally, or you're on my case because I'd wondered earlier why you were so quick to go to Coldsteel before you got on this whole... people who claimed rooms tangent. I mean, I get it, my life's not worth much and if you eliminate someone innocent it's just collateral damage." |
