You can't help but wonder - where did you go wrong? Why can't you beat a simple handheld video game? Everyone else got fairly good scores, but you can barely get past the first level. You feel like you're too stupid to be playing video games, too stupid to compete with other people, too stupid to even be here... maybe there's a pack of razor blades in the utility closet? A rope, perhaps? Something, just something to rid the world of one less hopeless idiot. It's not like anyone's going to miss you, anyways~

Not too bad for someone from the late 1800s! You don't get the hubub about hearing loss, either. Why, your hearing's as good as it ever has been! Those whippersnappers from 1983 must be weak!

You get a good score. Not as perfect as you would've liked it, but hey, this is video games, not billiards. Maybe one day you'll get the hang of it and beat the others, right?

Jason crushed the game in his hand as soon as he lost it. "This bullshit does not fucking help me. I'm going to go in the corner and not kill anybody, alright, BEN?!" He had an irritated look in his eyes as he wandered over to the corner of the room, crossing his arms and staring daggers at Big Ben.

Wingo, man! , Dale shouts in excitement after getting the high score, except, it quickly dawned on him he can't hear his voice. He frantically drops the Game-And-Watch and feels of his ears moaning, panicked figuring out what happened to his hearing before it comes back.
He ponders in thought, Must have been the Russians using sonic technology to make people lose their hearing and disguised it as a video game....
