Incidentally, I snatched some fishing line while we were in the storehouse and set it as invisible tripwire across the door for the unwary. ...Wouldn't have protected me from what happened to the kid last night, but I hoped it would at least provide some evidence if the worst happened. Guess I won't need to worry about setting that up, either.

Anyway, I can see everybody in the same place going bad. Even if people try to stay up and watch. Everybody's going every which way, leaving who knows what evidence, it's too dark to see anything during the actual night, and when we all wake up, there's no way to tell which evidence that someone was around is actually relevant and which is just red herring because *everyone* was around there.
Not that it necessarily would go bad like that. But I... uh, I always see bad things happening. Sorry for that.
