RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Florien - 07-02-2023 I am not strong enough yet. But I, one day, a soon day, will be. One day my story shall outshine yours. My web shall ensnare your own, and you shall be my prey. Esekhothar Edaht Alksor. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Kennifer - 07-02-2023 1. The zombies are all looking to add you all to the ranks of the undead. They are all huge in numbers. Battle the zombies or find a way to evade them. Battling is not really Veronica's strong point, and she doesn't likely still have Claudette's lighter or any other fire-starter on her so she'll try and climb the nearest tree to evade them. She hopes they can't climb... if they do, she'll throw things down on them or hit them with a branch or stick, preferably in the head. That's their weak spot right? They always shot the zombies in the head in those movies her parents said she was too young to be watching... 2. A demonic hound the size of a pick-up truck leaps in front of you. You try to run but it is too fast and strong to escape from. It can be killed however. Find a way. But Veronica isn't going to try to kill it. She'll use her telepathy, AKA the one of her powers she has full control over. She'll first try to just tell it to leave, if that doesn't work she'll try to scare it off. She is absolutely gonna be bullshitting if it comes to scaring it but if she can't outrun or fight it, she figures it's the best she's got. 3. A burning portal to Hell opens up close to you all. And you all fell hands grasping your feet, looking to drag you all into eternal torment. Find a way to free yourself from these hands to avoid damnation. She will kick at the hands, trying to muster enough telekinesis to push them down or make them let go, not caring if she loses a shoe or something in the process. She'll scramble back up the tree and throw whatever down on them that she can grab. Branches, whatever nuts or fruits are on the tree, etc. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-02-2023 (07-02-2023, 23:33:41 PM)Kennifer Wrote: 1. You make it to the tree and go in swinging with the sticks. There's just one problem: when you try to go for the head, you usually use a gun, which you definitely don't have. The zombies close in on you but you fall off the tree and land on your back before they can get you. Hurt, you barely managed to escape. Rolled 4. 2. You get way into trying to use your telepathy. But the beast isn't deterred at all. It lunges right at you and you're too weak to get it off you. It shreds into your body until all that remains is a puddle of blood mulch and pulverized bone. The Ranger again points to your remains and you reform, again back to life. The Ranger scoffs at you I thought you were skilled in your powers. Rolled 1 and 1- for overconfidence for a 0. 3. However, where they failed to tame the beast, your abilities work well on the hands. You manage to force the hands back into Hell easily. Was it an adrenaline rush after you were mulched a few moments ago? Possibly. But you send those hands back to Hell where they belong without any harm done to you. And your shoes are all intact. Rolled 8. Veronica has scored a total of 12 points. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Dookie - 07-03-2023 1. The zombies are all looking to add you all to the ranks of the undead. They are all huge in numbers. Battle the zombies or find a way to evade them. Well, shit. As Stan is a 10-year old boy with the body of a 10-year old boy, battling won't do much. So instead, he runs towards the closest person or large animal he can find, shoves them into the way of the hoard, and hopes he can make them somebody else's problem. It's not the noblest thing to do, but a better way to die than getting your soul tortured forever, right? 2. A demonic hound the size of a pick-up truck leaps in front of you. You try to run but it is too fast and strong to escape from. It can be killed however. Find a way. Stan is usually good with animals, but this one didn't look like an easily tamable one. Still, as just a regular kid with no powers, he would most likely not win a fight against a hellhound. Instead, he does the only thing he can think of: Playing dead. Stan goes limp in an attempt to confuse the dog and possibly make it leave. 3. A burning portal to Hell opens up close to you all. And you all fell hands grasping your feet, looking to drag you all into eternal torment. Find a way to free yourself from these hands to avoid damnation. Stan attempts to wriggle out of his shoes. The hands, if they are only grabbing onto his shoe, should leave him if he is able to get up and run away fast enough. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - NebulaChimera2211 - 07-03-2023 "May this be an example to you, and to all others who dare to oppose me," Ting-Lu spitefully declares after defeating the hound. Considering its size vs your size, you have to put a little bit of strength into the nudge, but once you do, the bear falls right into the zombies. But instead of it being dinner for the undead, the bear manages to slash and bite its way through all the zombies. As the animal kills off the groups of undead, you decide it's your perfect chance to escape. Rolled 10 and 1- for lack of physical strength for 9. 2. Smart thinking. The hound might be more physically superior to a 10-year old boy, but it's definitely not as intelligent as you. It sniffs you for a moment as you play dead, but it moves on. You manage to run off after it goes its way. You managed to fool this creature. Rolled 7 and 1+ for smarts for 8. 3. But the hands don't grab onto your shoe; they have a tight grasp around your feet. They start to yank you down into Hell, but you find a root on the ground as you grab it. But the hands are not willing to go down without you that easy. It works to bring you down and it pulls you away from the root. But as they descend down, you grab another nearby root at the last minute before the hands go back down. You're left dangling down from the hole, but you climb back up to safe land. Rolled 5. Stan Marsh has scored a total of 22 points. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Zanreo - 07-03-2023 1. Shin gets out his sword and starts chopping up the zombies, trying to not get too close, fighting them off with powerful kicks or punches if they do. 2. "Hmm..." Shin looks for an opening and slides underneath the hound, aiming for its belly. Hopefully that would be a sensitive spot... He tries slicing it from underneath, then getting out quickly to avoid being crushed. He then jumps onto it from behind, leaping across its back and reaching the head, aiming for the neck and eyes. Might as well fight dirty against a beast like this... 3. "Gah..." He first tries shaking them off, then grabbing anything from the ground (like small rocks) and throwing them at the hellish hands. Worst case. he'll grab onto something solid to avoid getting dragged down. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-03-2023 (07-03-2023, 18:40:08 PM)Zanreo Wrote: 1. Now your sword abilities shine as you slice through each zombie ninja-style. You're quick as a cat as bloody limbs, heads, even torsos fall below your feet. You get so into it, you even take a bite out of a zombie head and now you've become a zombie warrior yourself. You better hope this doesn't backfire on you. Rolled 9 and 1+ for fighting abilities for 10. 2. Again, you get away into battling the Hellish creature as you slice through the belly. Its guts pour all over you. But you are no less phased. In fact, it might have fueled your fight as you leap onto the head and pierce it right between the eyes. Then you decapitate it and hold its head for all, even the Ranger him/herself for all to see. A message to everyone: don't mess with Shin Amon. Rolled 10 and 1+ for fighting abilities for 11. 3. While the zombies and the hellhound were no match for you, the hands are a different story. You don't even see it coming as they yank you into the hole and the next thing you know you find yourself surrounded by enemies of the Amon clan. You're confident you can take them all on just like you did the other threats. But these enemies aren't like what you've faced on Earth. The power of Hell has given them all extra strength and speed. They are too much for you as they swarm you and break every bone in your zombie body before they all throw you into the pit of fire where you incinerate into nothingness. Moments later, the Ranger points near the hole, and you respawn in again, fully human (sorry, no more zombie powers for you). You were impressive fighting my creatures on Earthly ground. Is the Hellscape too much for you. Just another pathetic whelp who think he is a lot more capable and powerful than he really is. Rolled 1 and 1- for overconfidence for 0. Shin Amon has scored a total of 21 points. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - wingedcatgirl - 07-04-2023 The doll strikes back! The zombies are all looking to add you all to the ranks of the undead. They are all huge in numbers. Battle the zombies or find a way to evade them. Between combat and grappling, Maryann is perfectly well equipped to do both - but she's never been one for defensive action when offense is available. She swaps out her yoyos for one that appears to be glowing with heat and one that's glowing with... well, light, but the elemental kind, y'know? She begins swinging the yoyos around, decapitating zombies with the yoyo string, grabbing them and bashing them into each other, just smacking them with the fire and light. Whatever it takes to get rid of the swarm. And as a backup plan, she does have the grappling yoyo available to swap to if things ever look dicey. She'll be able to swing through the trees to safety, hopefully. A demonic hound the size of a pick-up truck leaps in front of you. You try to run but it is too fast and strong to escape from. It can be killed however. Find a way. "Well, you're a big boy, aren't you?" Maryann immediately yoyos around the hound's neck and swings herself up onto its back! From there, she uses her second yoyo to also grapple the hound's neck for better grip, and uses her improvised reins to drive the rampaging beast through the zombie hordes. If the zombies don't take it down, well, then it'll take down the zombies, won't it? Driving it around should tire it out at the very least. If she still needs to dispose of it when all is said and done - A burning portal to Hell opens up close to you all. And you all fell hands grasping your feet, looking to drag you all into eternal torment. Find a way to free yourself from these hands to avoid damnation. - hold that thought, apparently, cause these hands just showed up trying to drag them both back to Hell! Well, a giant hellhound should be able to fight back easily enough, assuming she still has that. If it can't outrun the hands - or better yet, trample them to death - then it'll serve as a perfect distraction for them while she grapples to safety. If she doesn't still have the hellhound at this stage, things get a little dicier, but the first instinct is obviously to get to higher ground. She swaps the fire yoyo for a grapple yoyo and tries to latch on to a tree or cliff or something. Meanwhile, with the light yoyo, she strikes back at the attacking hands, breaking their knuckles and/or yoinking them out of the ground to hopefully be too disoriented to fight further. ... and after all is said and done, if the hellhound is still around and hostile, she can drive it into the river. You set some on fire and burn some with your light. While you do manage to handle yourself well, you decide maybe it's time to jet before you get swarmed. You yo-yo away while the escaping is good. Rolled 5 and 1+ for yo-yo skills for 6. 2. The beast however to a more challenging fight. the second you yo-yo it around its neck, it swings its head upwards and lifts you 50 feet in the air before you fall back down right into the jaws of the creature. It rips you apart into doll fragments. Again, the Ranger points to your remains and you reform again, back to life. I trust now you will have a swing of things? Rolled 2 and 1- for lightness for 1. 3. However, after your death, you managed to figure out a way to work the beast. Again you yo-yo it around the neck and force it to trample the hands into dust before you right away on the creature like some kind of rodeo cowboy. Rolled 7. Maryann Davis has scored a total of 14 points. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-04-2023 At this moment, the zombies, the beast, and the hands disappear. The hole to Hell closes. The Ranger looms over you all. Well, are you not the lucky one? Twice you managed to perform the best against my threats. I suppose you have protection again for another night, Ting-Lu. But your luck will run out eventually. It always does. Once again, red souls revolve around Ting-Lu, giving it protection against the possessed for the night... if it's not possessed itself. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-05-2023 Once again, the nighttime falls as the survivors go and rest for the night. And like before, they get another vision in their slumber. ELEANOR VILLAGE, LATE 17TH CENTURY Sunset was approaching Eleanor Village. Town activity was dwindling as the descending sun combined with the bright orange skies tinted the buildings dark. The citizens were resting from work, settling down with their families. Smoke billowed from the chimneys as the sounds of town quieted down. Except the silence was interrupted with cries of "Help me! Help me!" Agatha ran into the more residential area of the town. Her hair a disheveled mess as her bonnet was undone, her dark hair looming down her shoulders. Her black dress soiled with dirt and blood pouring down her face. She waved her arms as she screamed even louder "Help me! Help me!" Her cries gathered the attention of some of the townfolks. Someone who appeared to be a farmer approached the frantic woman. "Mrs. Bancroft, are you all right? I noticed you look hurt." "We were attacked... John and I... They had come after us with rifles..." "Who was it?" "Events happened so fast, I barely got a glimpse of them. I managed to fight back and scare the attackers away. But..." "But what?" "They shot John." The town gathered the authorities as they headed two miles out of the town to the nearby forest. They came across a wagon with holes found across the base of the wagon with wooden splinters protruding out. And there was John, lying flat on his stomach. Two gunshot wounds on his back, close to his spine. One of the watchmen examined his body before lifting the man's head up to see his eyes glazed over, blood pouring from his mouth down to his chin. Tears rolled down Agatha's face as she started breathing heavily. The watchman walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder. "I deeply apologize for the loss of your husband, Mrs. Bancroft. I promise, with the duties bestowed upon us by God Himself, we will apprehend the ones responsible for this senseless murder." "Thank you, Watchman. I suspect there are more witches among this town," she declared, waving her finger at the group of citizens that showed up at the crime scene. "You must remember, whoever it is among you, you might think Satan may give you power, think it will lead you to victory as you leave this town in distress. And you might think you can intimidate me by killing the love of my life. But I assure you these are false promises. God is even more powerful than all of you. He will lead dissenters into ruin before their final fate into Hell. Satan might shone darkness into all of us. But God will light everything up for all of us in the end. And if you think you can escape retribution, you are solely mistaken!" Agatha backed away to the two horses still attached to the wagon. They neighed loudly and raised their bodies up as she came closer to them. They tried to escape, but were unable to as they were still hooked onto the beam of the wagon. Some of the citizens muttered what was going on with the horses. Agatha tried to wrap her arms around one of the horse's neck, but it shoved her away and pounded her to the gravel. The watchman ran over and propped her up. "I never saw horses react like that. Very unusual." "It is all right. John had his way with the horses. They all flocked to him the second they saw him and he loved them all the same. They are likely distraught over losing their master." "I can imagine the pain they all must feel, as I do you. I apologize for your husband's death. If I can help you in any way, I will be willing to do what you ask of me." "Just hold onto the faith of God. As part of his flock, we must band together more than ever. The witches might still try to intimidate us, but we will not rest until they are eradicated from this town." The moon lit up the area as everyone, Agatha included, went back into Elanor Village. The Watchmen began investigating John's murder. Who could been responsible for his death? Agatha hoped the killer, or killers, can be brought to justice... Back to the present day, the Possessed ones hear in their sleep Two are down, and so far, no losses among you. Maintain the progress, and perhaps I shall let you all go free... NIGHTTIME IS HERE. NEXT DAYPHASE TO HAPPEN AROUND FRIDAY-SATURDAY. AND DUE TO DISCUSSIONS IN DISCORD SERVER, THE CHALLENGE MODIFIERS AND FUTURE RNG ROLLS WILL BE SLIGHTLY REVAMPED. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THAT. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-08-2023 (GM'S NOTE BEFORE DAY STARTS: Due to Discord discussion, there will be some slight revisions. I'll be doing 3 point differentials for modifiers used during challenges to really make an impact. So if you roll a 4, it could just as easily become a 1 or 7. And while 10 rolls will be Gone Horribly Right as usual, 1 rolls will now have Springtime for Hitler results (i.e. you fail so badly, you loop back into success) DAYPHASE IS HERE You all see the newly-possessed Ranger arrive at Camp Rhinestone. The camp full of activity, with hundreds of people -families, friends, and couples- enjoying their vacations. A few people look off-put by the new look the Ranger has whenever they get up-close to him/her. But most people pay no mind as they have fun in the cabins, sitting outside their RVs roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, people getting their fishing in, relaxing around their tents, and other activities. As the Ranger browses his/her surroundings, he/she raises his/her arms as walls of fire rise around the camp. Everyone slowly catches on to what's happening and begin to wonder if they can find their way out. The Ranger stares a hole into a family of four as their bodies tremble before looking unlike themselves. They all grab knives and cleavers used for cooking as they start to slice and stab their way through some of the campers at the cabins. People rush over after hearing the screams of the dying. They form a mob and with no other choice, kill the family. But the act of self-defense was not enough. As more people started to act nothing like they were as they go on butchering more and more. A few go over to the Ranger, pleading him/her to save them. But all he/she does is curse them; making them vomit blood until they spew out vital organs, slam their bodies against each other, set them on fire. Within minutes, the killers wiped out the survivors. The Ranger, no longer having use for them, force them all into murdering each other. The Ranger looks over his/her surroundings and looking at how all these people, who were just having fun over an hour ago, all of them- sliced into bloody bits, stabbed, burned, crushed, shot, drowned, any death imaginable- now lay motionless at the camp. All these people... they all had families! How could you do all this? This is only the beginning, Ranger... You all wake up. Making sure you haven't waken yourself into another dream like yesterday. But to your assurance, you can tell reality for fiction. Not that it gives you much hope since your lives are still on the line. And speaking of, who's the next victim? You all look around the camp and find everyone is alive and accounted for. 10 people still among the mortal coil before the night fell and still 10 people who lived to see the day. You all survived the night, pretty impressive. You managed to hold off my possessed from killing one of you. But I advise you not to get cocky. For your lives and souls will still be sealed here. It is your fate. Whoever came in and saved you all, good work. Now find the possessed ones. Make your time count... RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Whistle - 07-08-2023 Konji staggers up to the tree, weakened. He can barely stand up, his wings folding next to the tree where Claudette was charcoaled. Whoever tried to kill me... is going down with me tonight. He pulls a giant poison dart out of his neck, holds it in the air. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Despair's Archon of Memes - 07-08-2023 ... WHat... Happpened... Jenny looks at the scene... still groggily trying to comprehend the situation... ... Good... everyone's here... She's hyperventilating... RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Kennifer - 07-08-2023 "So the dark creature or whatever they're called poisoned you, but none of the other possessed got to kill anyone? Ouch... Okay. We'll find out who did that and vote them out today." Or at least she hoped they would... RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Dookie - 07-08-2023 Stan wakes up to the scene, noticing the crowd gathering around Konji, before noticing the poison dart in his neck. "Oh man...well, at least you're still here, right? Maybe we can get one of them before they get you! Yeah..." RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Whistle - 07-08-2023 Konji struggles somewhat for breath... The soft one... I think the soft one did it... or... whoever... killed... the girl. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Florien - 07-08-2023 You are poisoned? Hm. I suppose that does clear you. Well, as Maryann said yesterday, and as I agreed, I nominate the cat to die, next upon the list. Dorothy Westcott shall be my prey today. /Vote Dorothy Westcott. RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Zanreo - 07-08-2023 "Alright, it's not Konji. And no one died tonight... must have been blocked in some or other way." Shin says. But not... you... either. /vote Talantravi RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Zanreo - 07-08-2023 "Right, it doesn't discount her... in fact, it makes her more suspicious, assuming the Possessed side can both kill and poison during the same night." RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Kennifer - 07-08-2023 "Yeah! A killer being jailed would explain why nobody died. She might not be the... Dark Creature I think the poisoner was called, but she could still be on their side." RE: Witch Trip 2: The Witch is Back - Dookie - 07-08-2023 "From just the small people here, Dorothy's still a main suspect. I still want to hear her side of the story, though. I also don't think Talantravi is a murderer. Sure, she's lead the group to a suspect who turned out to be innocent, but is it really her fault the kid and his mom wouldn't speak up until after they were voted out? She's doing too much work to figure out the killers to secretly be one in disguise." |
