Might as well just ask, Kennifer thought. Maybe there was a way to get to the bottom of this without dying or getting... infected? fragmented? whatever.
She was probably speaking loudly enough to be heard through the door.

"I died. The first time, something fell on me while all the lights were out, and... it hurt like hell, like all my bones broke and I bled inside... and then next I knew I was walking into the kitchen again, right as rain, like it had never happened, and everyone was where they were earlier in the day. Like it was a video and someone rewound it. And I'm not sure who all remembered."
She pauses, then continues.
"So I came up to my room, instead of going to the living room to see if I could avoid dying again, but I got stung by this bee that had the virus in it, and... I actually felt pretty okay, I think it was a few minutes later that it reset again."

At least Kennifer didn't remember this happening before. Was that a good sign? She wasn't sure.
