Klonoa stood there silently, pulling his hat down. He was silently hoping that this was all wrong. That this was some horrible dream. That Sylvie wasn't dead, and Medic wasn't his killer. But. . . This was reality. This was real life. Sylvie was really death, and Medic had been voted as his killer. Whether or not Medic actually killed the psychologist, it didn't make him feel any better. If he was the killer, then Klonoa would've just sentenced him off to his death, not making him any better. And if he was innocent, then an innocent man would've been sent to his grace, and Klonoa'd have helped with it. The cat-rabbit boy turned around, breathing in heavily trying to not break down in tears from this.

Medic chuckles and grins devilishly.
"Yes, it vas me. Vhy vouldn't I? Zis king here pays me greatly, and I'm not one to pass up mercenary business vhen I see it. My only issue is, how utterly schtupid my team vas."
He stops grinning and stands up straight.
"Seriously! I vas ze only one to even attempt to kill anyone. Doraco had to vait so long for someone to even ask to make a kill. And of course, he, for some reason, sought zat it'd be a bright idea to flat out tell Bossman zat I vas against him!"
Medic laughs maniacally. "I see I'm, yet again, ze one to carry ze team, even if I'm alvays ze first one to go out. Some sings never change, I suppose..." Medic places a hand on his chin and shrugs.
"It's been nice meeting you all. Bossman, I enjoyed being your sidekick vhile it lasted. And you two halloveen boys made me smile quite a bit! But, money is money. And it's also very fun to vatch you all scuttle around hopelessly looking for clues!" He pulls up his gloves and bows.
"Auf Wiedersehen!"

As Klonoa heard Medic's confession, he'd just looked down at the doctor's cold yet inane ramblings of his team's incompetence. "Why. . . Why Sylvie? What did he do to you. . . ?" He was mostly sad than angry at Medic, even as he callously confessed to the murder. "Why would you or anyone do this. . . ?"

Although he was freaking out and not doing so great physically and mentally, Klonoa's gonna try and compose himself, taking a deep gulp. He wasn't looking at the execution, but cringed at the sound of Medic's skull being cracked open. It was taking all his willpower not to throw up or pass out or anything. The cabbit noticed Skid and Pump and attempts to go over to them to comfort the Spookey duo and shield them.

"Do we. . . Do we have to. . . ?" Klonoa choked on the question, getting out it seconds later. Normally he'd jump at the opportunity to take out monsters, but they've just saw 2 (excluding the inactives who dropped out) deaths.
