I guess we're going to have to go hunting for kitties. Let's see what the pantry has for bait. We'll need to keep them from biting or scratching us once we lure it close, too. I'll grab a few syringes so we can get a blood sample.

She holds her hand out towards the door and channels both her aether and the pink smoke into it...
... very briefly, before having a better idea.
"Let's make sure we're not interrupting anything important. Raha was in dire enough straits to justify it, but we aren't."
With a wave of Sylvi's hand and a cloud of pink smoke, the door becomes a window, and she channels once more...

"Hm... I'd say ve could try to search for some catnip, but vhen I lure small animals I usually just use C4H8CI2S. Cleans up easy, and if you mess up, at least you get a nice nap, haha!"

...Mustard gas? I guess that would work to knock them out, but I'd wear a respirator or a gas mask meanwhile. I don't think it's going to lure them out of hiding.
I found some chicken in the fridge, though. That might work.

Sylvi is panning the window through what looks like all of Eorzea.
To her surprise, most of the Scions are busy looking for her.
We totally should've expected that, though.
... Well, yeah. If only we could get a message back... to tell them we're safe, at least.
After checking up on all of the Scions, she turns the window back to G'raha and Y'shtola, who were busily studying in the Mushroomery.
"If we could find some sort of --" Y'shtola stops suddenly.
G'raha glances up from his tome to give Y'shtola a confused look. "Y'shtola?"
She jerks her head slightly toward the window.
He glances over in approximately the right direction. "Is it back? I don't see anything..." he mutters.
"'Tis," she responds, "and in approximately the same place."
"... Wait a minute, she can see us?!" Sylvi exclaims.
Y'shtola's eyes widen. "G'raha, did you hear a voice just then?"
"I didn't hear anything, no. Why, what did it say?"
"I'm not sure, it was distant and muffled."
... It occurs to me that this might go on for a while. Best to break it up over a few posts, in that case.

Yeah. We need to trap one. They were spreading some kind of virus that makes everyone into a cat. If we can get a sample of the virus, maybe we can understand something about it.
