RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - TenOfSwords13 - 09-12-2021 Fischer was definitely here the whole time, just not paying attention after staying up for 24 hours. Now she's regained a bit of strength by... idk. Okay, so, killer's underground. Sewers. Solution... sewers have methane. Methane flammable... >Check the files again, is the time of death consistent between deaths? RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - The Map Maker - 09-12-2021 >Search the office. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Florien - 09-12-2021 Dr. Fischer's check needs not be rolled, as public record will show, most deaths happened in the early morning, aside from #7, #10 and #19 which happened fairly late at night, and #21 which happened not long after dark. Office search [8]: You find some cans of paint, paintbrushes, a roll of carpet, tarps, some scaffolding, and a really good sniper perch by virtue of the office building being so much taller than every other building in the blocks. No rifle for it, of course, but it is a good perch. You going to burn out the sewers? Interesting plan, you think it'll work? RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - The Map Maker - 09-12-2021 >Search the grocery store. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Florien - 09-12-2021 Searching the store [5]: Well, you don't do anything to get banned from it. It looks like a pretty standard large grocery store, with food and drink of most persuasions, some household stuff like cleaners, and some basic kitchen supplies, like timers and cheap knives. Also both courtesy and cashier clerks stare at you suspiciously, for whatever reason. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - TenOfSwords13 - 09-12-2021 >Look for fire sources (matches, lighters, etc.) in the Store. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - The Map Maker - 09-12-2021 >Search the warehouse. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - artsyGeek - 09-12-2021 > Try and search for the man's coworkers — Perhaps they could give us some last insight on a couple of things related to his past and/or who he was last seen with RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Dookie - 09-12-2021 > Look for the sewer worker's acquaintances (family, friends, co-workers), and see if they match up with any other person thus gar's acquaintances RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Mr. Lee Hammer - 09-12-2021 > Ask the bartender about a black haired guy with a mustache that came in the following night RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - PointMaid - 09-12-2021 Hmmm... Sniper perch in the office? > Try to find out who owns that office building and what business is in it. > Also, look for any evidence that the park was the actual murder scene for one or more of the murders and they got moved to the catkin later RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Kennifer - 09-12-2021 Now that she's got her bearings again Terezi will >Figure out what she's missed, get caught up on the plans, etc. in other words I was asleep and gotta figure out how to get back into this lol RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Subparman - 09-12-2021 Kaikoku, who was definitely there the whole time and whose admin absolutely did not forget about the day start time, hums in thought at reviewing the files. Hey... You bunch are seeing this, aren't you? Don't say there's a possibility that this ‘Catkin Lane Killer’ could be more like the ‘Catkin Lane Killers’? It doesn't sound like he's joking. I mean, what's a murder mystery without the whole second-Kira spin, amirite... >The victims who were shot early at night with buckshot in particular, would it be possible to find anything tying them together, besides the murder method? Ask around and look into their backgrounds to the best of your ability. >If not yeah you might as well try the old trick again, check to see if we've gotten any security camera footage of the most recent kill RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Kennifer - 09-12-2021 MOR3 TH4N ON3 K1LL3R 1S 4 POSS1B1L1TY ON3 TH4T WOULD COMPL1C4T3 TH1NGS 1N BR1NG1NG TH3M TO JUST1C3 BUT 1 KNOW W3 C4N DO 1T >:] HON HON HON RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - PointMaid - 09-12-2021 Yeah, I was thinking about that, Kaikoku. One with just a shotgun and bayonet. And the other a sniper, trying to cover up by trying to make their kills look like the first one by shooting them with a shotgun and sticking them with a bayonet after the fact... RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Florien - 09-12-2021 (OOC: AAA Huge update, I slept too long) Get fire-starters from the grocery store. [9]: You walk away with grill lighters, wood matches, paper matches, flick lighters, and basically all the tools of a budding arsonist who didn't buy accelerants. Search the warehouse: [4]: The short guard is still asleep in front of the door to the Strickland warehouse, and you don't want to wake them up, but you check out the chemical supply warehouse, which has... chemicals. Lots of kinds, but you're not sure what most of them do. Coworkers! [4]: It doesn't seem like any are in this part of town right now. Acquaintances! [8]: Well, the Sewer worker didn't know anyone in the area it seems like. It's looking like he was a victim more of circumstance than anything. Ask the bartender about the guy! [5]: What, you mean Pete? He works at the construction site. He's a regular. Investigate the office! [2]: Well, based on the sign outside, it's owned by some financial firm or other. Investigate the park for signs of MURDER! [8]: The sniper perch was not used at any point, it's just that the office could be a convenient place to snipe at someone if you wanted to. Also, there is no evidence that any murders took place in the park. What ties the victims who were shot early in the morning together? [9]: Nothing. It looks like most of them were just random people who happened to be there. Security camera footage? [10]: You try to find footage. You get footage that is completely useless to the case, but footage. And finally, Terezi, who manages to follow all this and get caught up. [7] RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Mr. Lee Hammer - 09-12-2021 Thank you for everything. Have a nice day, Evil Jay Leno says, leaving a nice little tip for the bartender before he goes back to the construction site and > Look for Pete and see if he has any idea what happened to Bates RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - PointMaid - 09-12-2021 Hmmm... fine, it looks like there wasn't actually a sniper, and bodies weren't moved from the park. There could still be more than one killer with one of them trying to disguise their MO as the guy with the shotgun and bayonet, though. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Kennifer - 09-12-2021 SO 4 LOT OF TH3 V1CT1MS W3R3 1N TH3 WRONG PL4C3 4T TH3 WRONG T1M3 >:? RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - TenOfSwords13 - 09-12-2021 Fischer decides to head to the apartments next, arsonry in hand. This is what I've come to... burning public infrastructure to catch one guy... probably worth it. Do need a nap though, can't stay up for two nights in a row. >Look for a vacant room, and if one is found take a nap. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Florien - 09-12-2021 Track down "Pete". [3]: You find Peter Romero, who matches the description... GOD DAMN IT YOU PEOPLE! What do I need to tell you to make you stop coming after me?! Vacant Room! [6]: There's a lot of those, considering all the people who've been killed recently. You get into one without alerting anyone and sleep there. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - The Map Maker - 09-12-2021 >Search the construction site. RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Florien - 09-12-2021 SEARCH THE BUILDING PLACE WHERE BUILDING IS [10]: You search high and low, and low, and high, and kind of a middle height, and also kind of lower than low and higher than high. You see many things. MANY THINGS. And no dumped bodies in the pit labeled NOT A BODY DUMPING SITE. And also a nail gun. And also a second nail gun. And also some construction equipment, and didn't you already investigate this place? RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Mr. Lee Hammer - 09-12-2021 > Ask Pete if he knew what happened to Bates or where he's seen him last RE: Free Association: Part One. Day 2: "Showered with Spy-te" - Florien - 09-12-2021 Ask Romero where he last saw Bates. [4]: Will it make you leave and stay away? I don't think so. You show up at my work, you bother me, you say "just a few more questions" then you come back and ask WAY more! It's creepy! So I'm not answering ANYTHING without a reason to. |
