Both dead in the same way implies it was the dualgunner, Fourto, who went for them. Therefore, it was a second killer who caused the death of Fourto.
Avril sounds fairly confident in this assessment.
Also, no fires, so now do you believe I don't start them?

Bronwyn isn't... isn't a suspect... kirby. Jack said bronwyn was, based on nothing at all. I said we should execute jack because he was bad to me and we were given no information as to who could possibly have done the... the crime. But bronwyn isn't... isn't a suspect. Unless there's evidence that indicates that that is... that is the case. Which there isn't. If there is, I'd change my... my mind, but I can't... I can't see any evidence. For that. On the ground evidence is... is irrelevant. All of it could be faked, or real, and the interaction of... of what we can use. Is what we need to use. To know what happened.
Avril pauses for a while, sitting. its jewelry glinting in a way that's somehow the opposite of regal, its awkward sitting position looking like it should make it difficult to walk after standing due to pressure on those legs cutting off circulation. It then stands up.
I'll... I'll... humor. Humor the premise. For a bit. It won't turn... won't turn up anything. I think. But I'll humor it. If we assume fourto killed those two, the relevant killing is the one that was targeted at... at... fourto.
Avril takes a few extremely weird looking steps, then falls over, before getting back up to do what it was going to do.

"Wait... Khommodior and Leonie weren't necessarily killed by a Dualgunner. Leonie was a Hider, if she was hiding behind Khom and Khom was targeted she would've been killed the same way, right?"
Her head seemed to feel a bit clearer this morning. Well, until seeing the bodies, but she hoped she'd be of more help today.

That's... That's true, I suppose.
I'm still confused about the situation. If Leonie was a Mason and killed, why isn't there somebody else dead too? ...And are we to believe there were at least two distinct Masonries, or what were Avril and Kirby and Ribbon goin on about yesterday? I suppose that's plausible enough, perhaps.

"Maybe third party was the right word, there's the slasher... and the fanatic, that aren't part of the evil faction and can kill. Lots of things could have happened. I think it could've been that the evil faction went after Khom, and also got Leonie who was a Hider... then the third party killer happened to get one of the bad guys for us. And someone could've been bus-driven and none of those were the original targets, that's true."
Lithium sits down mid-whatever she was doing which I think was looking at where the knives had been stored prior to the kill and sighs.
