Vriska would try to help and rip up some sheets for bandages or something to patch herself up then attack Nerva herself but lolyeah she's not gonna be able to do that.
Maybe she'd underestimated this guy. Or just not expected to be caught off guard and not dodge in time, whatever. Probably should've tried stealing his luck, but... that would hopefully run out soon enough anyway, not even she can stay that lucky forever and she doubted Nerva had her abilities to steal more. Besides, she thought, he ran away like an asshole and probably wasn't within range for that. However, she had another ability that even worked across planets (so working partway across an IKEA shouldn't be a problem, right?)
For now though, she will focus what may well be her last bit of strength in a probably last ditch attempt to

Normally Vriska might complain about the challenge being "weak" or "easy" or whatever but at this point she's glad it's not a physical thing while she's trying just to stay alive for now lol.

Eight nods. Not a problem. I host language arts practice programs as well as math and my databank contains a dictionary which includes slang and other workarounds.

You topple over a stack of chairs blocking your path, and you and Vriska pass through. Vriska finds a bedsheet, but has trouble ripping it up.

Nerva is badly hit, and as he yells in pain, his vocal distorter makes an unpleasant staticky, feedbacky noise, followed by a pop... and shuts off, revealing a much higher pitched voice than expected for such a large guy.
Cheap. Fucking CHEAP. My employer just sat there, being useless, Couldn't even cut the lights as we planned. So.
He spits, and some blood drips out from under the badly sealed gas mask, and a few shards of greenish circuitboard plastic come with it. Some smoke comes out from the filter.
Jewel hired me. Xe suggested I kill Darryl. Couldn't even help me eliminate you all, just sat there. I hope xe got enough of that carbonyl to scald into unfunctionality hir gills or lungs or whatever xe has, and I hope the edemas I've given you all leave even your survivors permanently short of breath, if you don't drop in the next few days anyway. No treatment, no nothing can save you. You're all going to drown in your own blood soon from what you've breathed in anyway, it's progressive. I hope it's painful.
He then ignites any remaining molotovs and collapses onto the ground to ignite himself. >Or throws them to finish off Vriska or ignite Dr. Eight if possible because apparently projectiles can go through walls now.

I had thought his talking about an employer may have been hot air. And it's still possible he was trying to sew discord. But regardless, it is my duty to keep order among my students. I have no particular enmity toward you, Jewel, and perhaps you see why I had to act. But if you must turn against me, I will understand.
