RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-17-2021 I agree with the girl. And on top of that, I got the feeling any mistakes we make here will be very costly. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - TenOfSwords13 - 07-17-2021 Exactly. As our minds have not been soaked with even the most miniscule information of our fellow beings, any move here is a roulette of death, with only the smallest chance of victory over evil. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - PointMaid - 07-17-2021 Do you see me voting yet? I haven't. But I'm not... putting it out of reach and shutting things down when yes, we don't have much information yet and there's still the possibility of learning something that could help us eventually. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Kennifer - 07-17-2021 "I'm torn. On the one hand, there's no evidence on the body and do we know for sure one of us did it? Could've been one of those disembodied voice people... if they even count as people... who did it and want us to blame each other." Amy pauses. "But on the other hand, if they're right and some of us want to kill, it'd be good to figure out who they are so we can nip the thing in the bud before somebody else gets killed, definitely by one of us this time. Us being the group who went on the hike." "Okay, so... looking at some of the people here. Creepy death cultist seems obvious, but maybe a little too obvious. Like they're comically over the top about the whole thing. It's... actually really funny! But then there's that other dramatic-talking one, the one who wants to wait for somebody else to die before voting..." Can Amy successfully analyze something that's not a sitcom plot? Stay tuned! RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - artsyGeek - 07-17-2021 [Hearing Amy's. .surprisingly detailed analysis, Kondraki stands up from the floor.] ". .hm. Those are. .quite good points there. I suppose we should check on that scene one last time, shouldn't we?" > Is. .there even anything else on the crime scene? Is it self-inflicted, or is it a murder? RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - psychedelicate - 07-17-2021 "Ah! I-I think I... understand now... um, you're saying that e-even though there is no physical evidence... we can still rely on... social deduction... right?" RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-17-2021 > Help Kondraki with the investigation RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - PointMaid - 07-17-2021 (07-17-2021, 14:58:52 PM)psychedelicate Wrote: "Ah! I-I think I... understand now... um, you're saying that e-even though there is no physical evidence... we can still rely on... social deduction... right?" That's exactly what I was trying to say. It's not as reliable, and we do have to be careful with it. But it's probably better than nothing. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Kennifer - 07-17-2021 "Yeah! Even if one of our group didn't do this and it was the weird voice people, we can still look at each other and how we react to it." Amy's holding back on the investigating, because the others seem to have it covered, and she hadn't noticed anything looking earlier anyway. She's not sure she'd see anything further trying again. So, she'll just... watch the others investigate and talk amongst themselves since that's about all she can do for now. She... also feels kind of in over her head. Getting snowed in with a bunch of wacky characters? Really funny in a sitcom. Not so much in reality when bodies turn up and there's talk of traitors. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - psychedelicate - 07-17-2021 "Right... that should help... I hope... um... I'll take back my vote for now." /unvote skip RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-17-2021 Well, either way, I'm keeping my vote skip for now. But if we do find something incriminating, I'll gladly vote someone off that could be a threat. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - TenOfSwords13 - 07-17-2021 I agree. I shall not damn an innocent under anything less than proof. Reveal to me proof, and I'll dance to your tune. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - MadameButterflyKnife - 07-17-2021 Look at you, like a poet, Midnight. But yes; we should keep track of everything going on. Document and keep watch of what's going on. It's the only way we shall evade the wants of those voices. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Kennifer - 07-17-2021 "We've got a while, right? Before we need to vote one way or the other? Because I'm going to hold off and see if anything jumps out at me before I decide what I'm doing." "...well, probably not literally jumps out at me." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - PointMaid - 07-17-2021 That's a very good idea. Already ahead of you! Chip shows his artists' sketchbook with a list of those who voted for no elimination earlier: High Priest, Tainted Soul, Kondraki, Red, Mitsuha, and Lloyd Henrick RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - TenOfSwords13 - 07-17-2021 (07-17-2021, 15:29:05 PM)PointMaid Wrote: That's a very good idea. Ah, a list of those who wish to avoid a likely suicidal case of bloodshed. Define who it clears and accuses. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - PointMaid - 07-17-2021 Ada looks a bit peeved again. It doesn't. Yet. It's one piece of evidence to add to the pile. Some of them, maybe even all of them, are certainly ones afraid that if we try to convict today, we'll get an innocent. Which is a valid concern. Like I said, I haven't voted yet, myself. But some of them could be trying to cut things off prematurely so there's no chance anyone will do anything... compromising. Subtly or not. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Cassie - 07-17-2021 >Anything else on the scene? (Geek, Matt) It's a murder alright. For what reason do you persist on searching for evidence? RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - artsyGeek - 07-17-2021 [Because the others - or at least, Ada (and/or Chip??? idk) - told Konny to lmao.] ". .nnnope. Not a single thing. But. . It is a murder - We're probably not investigatin' a suicide framed like a murder, don't worry about it." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Mr. Lee Hammer - 07-17-2021 Well, I couldn't find anything, either. But yeah.... It would be a good idea to keep an eye out on everyone.... and that includes you too, Will Wright, Lloyd says, pointing to Chip on that last part of the sentence. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Kennifer - 07-17-2021 "Right... and we don't know if one of us did it or it was... whoever the voices belong to. Which, I'd say they'd need bodies to do that but if one's an avatar of Death, they could probably murder whoever they wanted at any time." "So either one of the traitors in our group was eager to get started and covered their tracks really well, or the voices want to make us suspicious of each other. Hence my holding off until I'm sure which of those it was. I don't want more innocent people to die any more than any of you do... except whoever the traitors are, probably. But I'm also not eager to just... do nothing and let them definitely kill somebody else tonight, so... we should watch each other and see if someone's acting funny. Er. Suspicious-funny, not comedic funny." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Cassie - 07-17-2021 "Look at those fools, already straining their minds trying to find my children amongst them." "Oh come on, your "children" has only gotten them trapped just today, when you intend to trap them much longer than that!" RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - wingedcatgirl - 07-17-2021 Votes (8/15 to confirm) No Elimination - High Priest, Tainted Soul, Kondraki, Red, Lloyd (5) Why exactly there's no evidence today isn't clear, but what is clear is that solving today's murder will require social deduction, not forensic. RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - Weirdguy149 - 07-17-2021 Freddy stared at the corpse with his head tilted in varying degrees once more. "I think I've got it. Whoever this customer is was murdered by someone before we came here. Perhaps someone on the night shift was sloppy. It's happened before, it'll happen again." RE: Murder in the Mountains (Day 1) - artsyGeek - 07-17-2021 [The king of booooterflies researcher looks at Freddy, confused as can be.] ". .night shift?" |
