RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-14-2023 "Yeah, that looks like a bit much. I don't think I'll ask you to help fix my toe, I don't want a full body cast." Tina couldn't help but be reminded of when her dad came back with his whole arm bandaged after he got cut between his fingers. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-14-2023 Now, I'm glad you're looking at stuff, but we can't wait here all day. We have another challenge for you later. You can vote for Jenny's killer, or Haruhi's killer if you have a better idea about that. ...Or skip, like you did yesterday. But you will be letting killers off the hook that way. You have until 8:30pm Eastern Time on January 16th (72 hours from the start of Day Phase) to vote. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Oggy123 - 01-15-2023 "So, uhh... are we getting any good clues to who the culprit is?" RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Magolor - 01-15-2023 Nnnnnope... not really. Geez, this is actually, it's actually way harder than it looks on TV. Doesn't help that there's literally zero evidence, either. Maybe we should think about who they targeted... I don't know about the girl from yesterday, but the robot might know something about somebody else here. But I don't know what she knew! Maybe she had a grudge on the weird blue alien guy from yesterday! But there's gotta be a reason it was the robot and not, say, the less metallic people who would be way easier to kill. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-15-2023 Leroy looks at the dearth of evidence. "I suppose there's a reason why they invited us and not Dick Tracy." Because he'd gun down everyone the first day for being criminal, and any survivors would be eaten alive by rats or something similarly awful. Obviously. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Oggy123 - 01-15-2023 "Well, we can't give up, right?" RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-15-2023 No indeed! Don't give up. You're absolutely right, you round little newcomer. A very can-do attitude. There might still be something around that can help you. ...And if you really want to go back to the other day and check things out there, well, we actually have a treat for you. A portal opens up before their eyes. This will take you back to yesterday. If you think you can find something more there. We've talked and we're going to give you an extra day of real-time to investigate and get your votes in. Don't expect this in the future. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-15-2023 "That could be useful if everything didn't wash away in the flood..." Tina, though, decided to stay where she was in the present (best not to move too much with her hurt toe since she's decidedly not one of those toons who's back to normal a second later) and >See if there's any non-Jenny debris in the pile, like if something else blew up too. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-15-2023 >See if there's any non-Jenny debris in the pile, like if something else blew up too. You don't notice anything you didn't notice before - the pieces of Jenny, rope, pieces of table, discarded match. But you do stub your toe on one of the pieces of table you were trying to avoid. Ouch. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Zanreo - 01-15-2023 > look around special effects workshop for anything suspicious RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-15-2023 > look around special effects workshop for anything suspicious (Meito) You're not seeing anything else here RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-15-2023 "Ow. Okay I should probably get some actual first aid before I lose all my toes." RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-15-2023 >Check the box of soot again for evidence of how that came to be applied. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-15-2023 >Check the box of soot again for evidence of how that came to be applied. You might have seen a bit of fingermarkings on it that weren't from when you scoffed it up earlier RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-15-2023 Greasy fingermarks, like Leroy leaves everywhere! I suppose that means it could be anyone, then. Except Perch, who has hands like oven-mitts, because they're fins. Now we have made progress. Anyway, anyone who would have applied soot would have gotten it on themselves. So they must have washed it off afterwards, because they're better than Leroy, who doesn't wash anything. >Check if anyone's hands look excessively clean. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-15-2023 >Check if anyone's hands look excessively clean. (Lockhorns) What good would that do just going around slapping other peoples' hands? How is that going to tell you anything? RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-15-2023 Lotta is sipping a coffee... and swinging on one of the nooses in the Western set as if it were a playground swing. Might as well have some fun on this while it's still up. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-15-2023 Hm. Well, soot is almost as impossible to remove as marriage, so chances are... >Look for where the applier washed the soot off themself. There could still be some there! RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-15-2023 >Look for where the applier washed the soot off themself. There could still be some there! (Lockhorn) You make your way into the maintenance and cleaning closet and you stumble upon the shelves, making all kinds of cleaners fall down, creating a nasty mixture of bleach and ammonia. You better get out of that area before you breathe that stuff in and die. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-15-2023 It's no more poisonous than Loretta's words. Leroy stands in the fumes and waits for death to prove him wrong, but the door is open so he only has a horrific coughing fit as the chloramine dissipates. >Check the sinks then, I suppose? RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-15-2023 >Check the sinks then, I suppose? You check everything, including that the taps work. Clean sinks! Nice clean water! ...Soaking you completely wet. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-15-2023 I always knew you were a wet blanket Leroy, but this takes the cake. If anyone took the cake, it's you. >Look in the ocean? I guess? Surely there's more soot somewhere. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-15-2023 >Look in the ocean? I guess? Surely there's more soot somewhere. ...Probably, yes. But you don't notice any looking out at the ocean. RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-16-2023 "So it wasn't the fish and they probably didn't put it on themselves and I doubt it was one of the people who just got here unless they got really excited about killing right away." RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - TheOtherCG - 01-16-2023 "Well, it seems we're at a stump when it comes to investigating and finding. Oh well, I suppose we'll keep trying." |
