Sadly, it's impossible to tell what size and kind of knife was used to flay the Tempests. However you do notice, upon closer inspection, that some parts of the skin look torn off rather than cut off.

...That's what we're trying to figure out. Libre said he trashed his knife and little shocky thing so they couldn't be used, but they were found in shards kinda near the body, and... had blood on them. And we can't find another knife. I tried to figure out at least what type of knife was used for this work, but no dice.

EEEUGH! Who would do such a foul deed? Strung up like that and flayed? It's like in those reprehensible southern states! My Grandfather would drink TWICE as much hard cider if he had seen this before his mysterious death! We must find this killer, by god! And quickly, before another strike is made! And you say this "Libre" person's equipment was found near the corpse? Sounds like an obvious framing job. Far TOO obvious. I suspect Libre planted that stuff there to make it look like an unsubtle framing attempt!
