Perch walked over to the burnt pieces of wood, holding up a charred crack in his fin.

"Seems like Jenna here wasn't the only victim. These tables, collateral to a killer's murder plan."

He does notice the table shards resting underneath Jenny's shattered body, curious. "Did the killer rest the robot on a table, lit the fuse and blow it all to Davy Jones' Locker?" Interesting, interesting. Perch is more suited for giving news reports than criminal investigations, but his notepad and pen seem to be good to jot down any crucial information. There's also those pieces of dynamite... "Looks like there's the cause of the Jenna's big bang."

> Inspect dynamite

It's dynamite. It exploded. You don't notice anything more than that.

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-14-2023

>Look for where the dynamite might have come from, any clues there?

Looking around and you hit your foot on Jenny's severed head. And it hurts. Really bad. You look down and you see toe bone torn right through your shoe.

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-14-2023

"AUGH! I'm not okay."

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - wahoothis - 01-14-2023

"I'm not much of a sci-fi connoisseur, that's more or less Gale Dopper's cup of tea, but could rope even hold that thing? Aren't robots supposed to possess superhuman strength?" Hi Walt, hope you don't mind him sticking a microphone in your face like he's giving an interview.
"O-Oh. Maybe the killer possesses high physical prowess or something similar?"
You would need a lot of muscle to be able to restrain a tin can like her. "Then we should make a list of the most able bodied who'd be able to at least restrain her enough to render her unable to move. That black and white badger looks burly enough, so that's one on the suspect list. And, well, I don't mean to brag, but I'm quite strong myself."

Perch cockily boasted, flexing his fins... which don't show a single trace of muscle. In fact, they lumped downward just to show his comical lack of any feats of strength.

Clearing his throat, he tap his chin in thought.
"Either that, or have the know-how in robotics or technology to figure out a way to stun an actual robot."

"Obviously, the dynamite must've come from the newly installed Western set. Where else are there dynamite sticks at bay?"

> Check the Western set for dynamite

Sorry if you wanted to spare any embarrassment Tina, but Perch saw that performance and is now walking over holding his mic up to his mouth. "I believe that's why people say to "stay on your toes"." Smirking at his own joke, mentally slapping his knee

> Check the Western set for dynamite (Simpsons)

Looking at the Western set, you find some dynamite. But it doesn't look like any was stolen from there. And while there, you find what appears to be a broken whiskey bottle in the saloon.

Otherwise, you'll be boned in her case!

"Is there a medic? And maybe some crutches. I'm pretty good on them from when I sprained my ankle."

Despite being in pain Tina still has the same monotone-y voice.

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - wahoothis - 01-14-2023

Perch briefly glared at the mouse for trying to steal his joke. But he'll complain to the manager later. He should really continue to investigate. Perhaps there's a bigger picture than just the Special Effects lot.

> Perch leaves the Special Effects room to go look around the studio lot for anything off or suspicious in other rooms like signs of struggles, doors ajar, etc.. Let's just hope he doesn't get lost. He forgot his map in his room...

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-14-2023

There should be some crutches around somewhere...

Lotta does source some crutches. They're more like tree branches. But they'll do if you really need them.

Looking around the studio, you find the Lockhorns still resting in their green room. And you noticed something off about them. They have soot all over them.

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - wingedcatgirl - 01-14-2023

"How did we... not hear that." Adrien seems very confused.

>Figure out how we didn't hear that.

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Mr. Lee Hammer - 01-14-2023

>Figure out how we didn't hear that. (Adrien)

You think and think, but it doesn't do any good. In fact, I think you've just given yourself a migraine.

...

......

......... Well if that isn't damning, he doesn't know what is. Perch just stands there gawking at the two Lockhorns sleeping in sooth. Let's just...

> Slink on over to the two of them and investigate the Lockhorns. Apart from the soot, is there anything off about them like burns or bruises? Are they even alive still? He probably should've checked that last part first, but eh, what can you do?

They seem to be breathing, yes.

As for burns and/or bruises... nope. None of that. All you see off about them is soot.

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Kennifer - 01-14-2023

Tina will take the tree branch crutches, provided they're sturdy enough to support her weight. Her toe still hurts like hell but at least getting weight off it should help some. right?

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - wahoothis - 01-14-2023

Hm... Just to make sure...

> How does the soot look? Does it look sprinkled on like someone dumped it on them, or if they were rummaging around in it? Just to be thorough.

You breath in some of that soot, and it throws you into a sneezing fit

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - wahoothis - 01-14-2023

Oh. Oh Neptune, he shouldn't be breathing that in. The only thing he should be breathing is good old salt water. Perch stumbles back and starts hacking up a lung, holding his throat coughing and sneezing.

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Magolor - 01-14-2023

Oh, that's where you guys went! Badgerclops walks in eating a burrito from each clasped paw. I didn't realize you weere.... gasp!!! NO! The robot girl.... He picks one pieces up with a delicate pinch after shoving the burritos into his cheeks. (muffled) Totalled... I was about to ask her who built her and stuff!

As a result of his totally not made up on the spot sadness, he continues to

>examine the shards of Jenny for any other clues

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - PointMaid - 01-14-2023

>examine the shards of Jenny for any other clues

Unfortunately, you don't find any other clues by examining Jenny's shards

RE: Toontown Showdown 2 - Florien - 01-14-2023

The lockhorns are here now.

Covered in soot, apparently.

Leroy's incompetent, but he's not that incompetent. We're obviously being set up, why would we stay around for an explosion that we set, and why would we have no other evidence of having been anywhere? I think it much more likely this is an attempt to pin the murder on someone else.

>Where precisely did the dynamite come from?

While Loretta tries to figure out where the dynamite came from, Leroy

>Looks at the soot and tries to figure out if there's any evidence of how precisely it was applied to them.
