By getting ahold of some specific foods and household items beforehand and poisoning all the other contestants a few days before the game starts, thus requiring an enormous delay to the games to train replacements, tossing me in an arena with a bunch of untrained sorts, or just outright saying I win and giving up. Any which way, I'm fairly likely to walk out alive, because being "the one who poisoned everyone the day before the game" would attract all kinds of attention, and thus people willing to throw high-quality gear at me.
