You can't tell.

You find that aforementioned blunt object, which looks like it could have been a baseball bat, some melted parts that look like it could have been finger covers for something (could have been gloves) and you also find a blanket and sheet inside there as well. But your examination of everything has left you a totally ashy mess. You look like you've been in a cement factory.
