RE: The Aurora Project - Day 1: Shots Revealed Already - Caret - 11-05-2021

All of a sudden, a mysterious entity wearing a tailor-made quilt over its body emerges from Bow's room. What could this dastardly specter be up to? However, the entity doesn't make it far before tripping over its shroud, revealing the phantom to be... a half-awake Bow. The fur on her head appears more spiky than usual and her feelers are twisted up in a knot. She clearly needed more time to wake up.

"Mmph... can I sleep in for just a bit longer..." Bow mutters.
"OH! A body is missing, you say? Could it be..."

> body search

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 1: Shots Revealed Already - Magolor - 11-05-2021

"Did someone wander out into the mountains in the middle of the night? Strange, I could've sworn everyone here had intact brain stems."

She observes from the sidelines.

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 1: Shots Revealed Already - Dookie - 11-05-2021

June awakens, before coming across the body.

“Oh, god!…If I didn't see a person die yesterday, I'd be more shocked. But that's all you get today.”

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 1: Shots Revealed Already - Caret - 11-05-2021

"And... uh oh. Uh oh." Bow exclaims. She hastily unties her feelers, throws her quilt off, and slips on her sweater. "OK, this is nothing new to me. Let me just do a quick body search and get to the bottom of this!"

> inspect Dr. Gerald's corpse

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - KungFuCutbug - 11-05-2021

"...Necromancer? NECROMANCER?? So you're telling me there was someone here who could resurrect the dead the ENTIRE GODDAMN TIME, and not only did they not bring back the guy that got shot when I came here, NOW THEY'RE FUCKING DEAD TOO." [Sherry cradles her head in her hands and groans extremely loudly, very obviously irritated by this turn of events.] "Just my goddamn luck."

> welp, no choice but to investigate the body, right

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - PointMaid - 11-05-2021

...Damn. That's not good.

>Check the area for any trace evidence

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Dookie - 11-05-2021

> Oh yeah check for Sussy Loot

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - awe921 - 11-05-2021

"..." Russell feels a primal disgust within him. Is this how it felt for the police to discover his victims? He looks at the faces of everyone around him, and then the corpse.
Feelings of disgust, terror, anger, sadness...
...
Russell decides to join in finding evidence. Perhaps he can help somehow, like how he did with the helicopter.

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Cassie - 11-05-2021

"To be fair, for a Necromancer, he could only do his job with specific limitations of his powers..."

> corpse check

He's got bruises, electrical injuries, and a gunshot on him.

> trace evidence

A hairnet and gloves can be found at the generator, and after some searching in the power station itself, you find a gun.

> Sussy Loot

unless this is about the evidence found i deadass dunno what you mean

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Kennifer - 11-05-2021

> Take a look at the bruising; does it look like it could be from a struggle (and thus possibly left some sort of defensive injury on the perpetrator)?

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - PointMaid - 11-05-2021

Great, that's what I call overkill. Beaten up, electrocuted, and shot?

> Sure there isn't a hair left in the hairnet?

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - awe921 - 11-05-2021

"... a gun."
Russell always wondered what it would be like to have a gun, when he began doing his whole serial murderer stuff before he got into this project. He found it hard to imagine a tool of death so simple, yet so deadly. And yet, it exists.
The corpse of Dr. Rodney(?) Gerald scars deep into his mind. He looks at the gunshot- chances are, it long stopped leaking blood. But he wonders... if something would stare back if he stared into that bullet hole.
Russell shakes his head. Now is not the time to think. Now's the time to act.

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - KungFuCutbug - 11-05-2021

[Sherry's just gonna stay faaaaaaaaaar away from the gun and whoever has it, thank you very much.] "Guns... Jesucristo. Never had a good experience with one of those things in my life."

> examine the generator—he's got electrical injuries, so that means the generator was probably tampered with, right?

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - awe921 - 11-05-2021

> Examine the bruises more closely. Was there any tearing on the skin? Is there anything that could've used to bash the doctor's head in nearby?

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - PointMaid - 11-05-2021

Tell you the truth, I'm more used to energy weapons, myself. Not a great fan, yeah.

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Despair's Archon of Memes - 11-05-2021

>examine the fingerprints on the gun if possible

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Dookie - 11-05-2021

> Check the hairnet & gloves

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - KungFuCutbug - 11-05-2021

"Least he didn't get shot in the face, no creo. 'Cause that would've hit way too close to home for me." [Sherry turns her head to the side, bringing the bandages covering her right eye into full view for a minute.] "I'm sure you can guess the reason so I'm going to leave it at that."

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Magolor - 11-05-2021

"Huh, another body. Considering the stuff left behind, this isn't the same thing as that Nikei kid had happen to him." She doesn't seem particularly fazed, but neither does she seem ecstatic.

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Caret - 11-05-2021

Bow also stays far away from the gun. The fairy knows that steel weapons doesn't play well with her kind at all.

"Same here, Sherry." Bow shouts to the woman from the far future. "I'm a Fairy-type, so metal weapons are very painful to deal with, both figuratively and literally. And... what's a hairnet doing here? I understand the gun, but... huh?"

> search far and wide for where the killer might have gotten that hairnet

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Despair's Archon of Memes - 11-05-2021

Bow... Think about it. Hair's something we could use to find the killer... We can examine and compare the color and hair length to match it with the killer's... So using a hairnet would prevent us from using hair as a clue.

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Kennifer - 11-05-2021

"As for me, I've got a... bad experience with electrocution."

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Cassie - 11-05-2021

>struggle marks?

Hard to tell.

>Hair in the hairnet

There's an excessive amount of hair in the hairnet, actually!

>Generator tampered?

Doesn't look like it, unless you count a hairnet and gloves at the generator as tampering.

>Examine bruises more closely and bash stuff

Aside from the gunshot wound, doesn't seem like there's any skin tearing, and looks like there's nothing nearby that could've been used to bash.

>fingerprint gun

Bruh. You can't.

>Hairnet and gloves

There's excessive hair in the hairnet, and gloves are gloves.

>Where the fuck did that hairnet came from?

Hard to tell.

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - Caret - 11-05-2021

"Ohhh... that's sneaky." Bow says in response to Reisen. "They're trying to cut us off from any personally identifying information. Something's telling me that we need use more than just evidence to deduce the killer."

"As for me, I had bad experiences with knifes in particular. And fridges. ...long story. Oh, thank Arceus for winter clothing and blankets. They're comfortable and effective against frigid conditions."

RE: The Aurora Project - Day 2: Death of a Disaster - PointMaid - 11-05-2021

...I'm not sure whether or not this is planted. But I'm getting that feeling like it might be?

> Still, check out what color and length the hair is
